I recently stumbled upon a jewelry store at the Glendale Galleria (in Glendale, CA) called "Lovisa Jewellery". Jewelry heaven! So many colors and styles of affordable jewelry to choose from. I only walked in the store to browse, but then I saw some earrings that would match with a blue dress I planned to wear to an event. I definitely made the right choice in earrings! No buyer's remorse here. Open shoulder dress is from www.Boohoo.com.

Tarte High Performance Naturals Palette - Eye Shadow Look
Los Angeles finally experienced a "chilly" winter night last night. I decided to wear my warm, "chilly night" appropriate open shoulder sweater from Forever 21. I used the "Tarte High Performance Naturals" eye shadow palette to create my look. This palette has all the perfect colors you need to create a really neutral warm eye shadow look.

My January Ipsy Glam Bag
I've had an Ipsy glam bag subscription since November 2014. I have been getting some really great products through them. I barely have to shop for make up anymore! Take a look at the products I received in January's glam bag and how I used the products to create my look.
My Glam Bag Products:
- Global Beauty Care charcoal wash-off mask: This left my skin feeling extremely smooth.
- Kajal Vasanti Waterline: Really smooth and applies on your eyelid very easily. Didn't smudge all night!
- Briogeo Scalp Revival Shampoo: Smells really great. I have oily hair so I had to apply a little extra on my head to make sure I didn't miss a spot.
- The Balm Cosmetics: I love this brand! Ipsy sends out a product from this brand in almost all of my glam bags. I'm obsessed. This particular product was a light, shimmery highlighter.
- EMMA V.S.N.P. Nail Polish: This really isn't my type of nail polish color. The good thing about Ipsy is that you can review your products so they can customize your bag for you. I put on the polish and it seems like good quality. I used the "Big Peel Off Base Coat" by sally Hansen for a smooth application.
Some other brands I used to create this look:
- Mac "Electric Eel" eye shadow (to create the blue under eye look)
- Morphe "Lock It" blue eye liner (for under eye lid)
- Lipland liquid lipstick in color "Amrezy"
- Arbonne Bronzer
- Morphe Continuous Setting Mist to finish the look

Winter in Paris
Winter in Paris...one word: COLD. Okay, two words: COLD AND RAINY. However, worth every minute! Paris has always been on my bucket list and I finally had the chance to go. It was quite difficult leaving sunny and warm Los Angeles where it was 75 degrees, to go to cold and rainy Paris, where the high was about 40 degrees every day. I will say though, it was nice to experience an actual winter! I'm so happy I got a chance to finally visit Paris and see the Eiffel Tower with my own eyes.

Chateau de Pierrefonds
This looked exactly like the Beauty and the Beast castle. It was one of the most magnificent things I have ever seen.

Don't be fooled by the blue sky. It was FREEZING.

Moet and Chandon
We drove to Champagne to take a tour of the facility and have champagne tastings. Couldn't decide which one I liked more! Both please!

My favorite crepe was at a cart right outside the Eiffel Tower next to the carousel. Banana Nutella crepe for the win!

How pretty is this! It was super crowded but worth going to.
I think my next Paris trip (if I'm that lucky) will have to be in the spring or summer. I'd like to experience Paris at a time when I don't have to wear a million layers and look so puffy!

Thanksgiving in San Francisco
I had the opportunity of spending the week of Thanksgiving in San Francisco. The weather was perfect! It was nice and chilly. I appreciated being away from Los Angeles just for a few days because I got to breathe fresh air. San Francisco was so beautiful. I had been there plenty of times before and enjoyed it just as much this time. I took some breathtaking pictures of my week up north!

Suzy Balian - Monster (Original Song) on YouTube
A few years ago, I had a horrible part-time job. I had a supervisor who was very rude and disrespectful to me. At that time in my life, I was writing songs left and right. I was so frustrated at this job and with my supervisor that I came home and started writing a song. That song became one of my favorite songs that I've written called "Monster."
I will admit that I haven't written any songs lately and I feel so guilty. I have so many emotions bottled up that I know would make for amazing songs. I hope to get back into writing again. Hope you enjoy my YouTube video!
