I will admit that I haven't written any songs lately and I feel so guilty. I have so many emotions bottled up that I know would make for amazing songs. I hope to get back into writing again. Hope you enjoy my YouTube video!

Suzy Balian - Monster (Original Song) on YouTube
A few years ago, I had a horrible part-time job. I had a supervisor who was very rude and disrespectful to me. At that time in my life, I was writing songs left and right. I was so frustrated at this job and with my supervisor that I came home and started writing a song. That song became one of my favorite songs that I've written called "Monster."
I will admit that I haven't written any songs lately and I feel so guilty. I have so many emotions bottled up that I know would make for amazing songs. I hope to get back into writing again. Hope you enjoy my YouTube video!

Wrecking Ball YouTube Cover - Miley Cyrus / Jasmine Thompson Version
I was listening to Pandora a few days ago and "Wrecking Ball" came on. The version was a sweet, soft ballad by Jasmine Thompson. I love Jasmine's voice and all the covers she does. Her versions of songs are always so angelic and pleasant to listen to. I decided to cover her version.
Here is my look for the video:

YouTube cover of "The Heart Wants What it Wants" by Selena Gomez
I just bought a new keyboard that I am
so excited about! I bought the Casio Privia PX-350 and felt that I
needed to do a cover right away to "break it in." I decided to cover
"The Hearts Wants What it Wants" by Selena Gomez. I love the song. I think she did a great job writing it with her team. The lyrics are deep and the melody is really good. Go Selena!

My YouTube Cover of "Fancy" by Iggy Azalea Ft. Charli Xcx
I realized I loved rapping when I first heard Nicki Minaj rap on Usher's "Little Freak." (I only rap for fun!) Ever since then, any Nicki Minaj or Iggy Azalea song I hear, I try to learn the rap as best as I can. This time, I actually learned the entire rap for "Fancy." Check it out!

YouTube Cover of "Me and My Broken Heart" by Rixton
Check out my piano cover of "Me and My Broken Heart" by Rixton. The original song sounds like a mixture between a Matchbox Twenty and Maroon 5 song. I'm a big fan of Maroon 5 (9 year fan club member and counting!). So when I heard the song by Rixton, it caught my attention right away. It's catchy and so fun to listen to. Here you go:

YouTube cover of "Black Roses" from Nashville
I was watching the television show Nashville on ABC a few weeks ago and heard a beautiful song called "Black Roses" sung by Clare Bowen AKA Scarlet O'Connor. I loved it instantly. I wanted to try a different style of a YouTube cover this time around. I contacted my talented musician friend Alfred and asked him to accompany me on the song. He did an amazing job playing piano and editing the video with a help of another friend. This was our first time recording a cover like this and we hope to do more and improve with each video. Check us out!

YouTube cover of "Let Her Go" by Passenger
Check out my YouTube cover of "Let Her Go" by Passenger. It's such a sweet song and I knew I had to cover it. I had my friend play guitar with me because I knew it would sound even better with two instruments. Enjoy!

YouTube cover of "Push" by Matchbox Twenty
Remember this classic song "Push" by Matchbox Twenty? It kept coming up on my iPod in my "Shuffle Songs" section over and over again. I have over 4,000 songs yet I kept hearing this one and thought to myself, "You know what? I'm going to do my own short simple cover of this." I love singing, playing the piano, recording, etc. I love music! Hope you like this cover.

My YouTube Cover of "Perfect" by Pink
I love doing YouTube covers because it serves as an outlet for me. We all have crazy lives with work, school, family, etc. When I do a YouTube cover and play the piano and sing, it's that one moment I can just get away and focus on what I really love...MUSIC! Hope you enjoy this cover and check out my other covers as well. Thank you!
