I realized I loved rapping when I first heard Nicki Minaj rap on Usher's "Little Freak." (I only rap for fun!) Ever since then, any Nicki Minaj or Iggy Azalea song I hear, I try to learn the rap as best as I can. This time, I actually learned the entire rap for "Fancy." Check it out!

Peach for the Summer

 I love wearing bright colors for the summer. I mean, who doesn't? I found this cute peach tube top peplum dress from Charlotte Russe. I loved the fit so much that I even bought it in black! I have a tendency to buy at least 2 different colors of an item I really like. 

I usually prefer to wear big earrings when I go out, but when I find a good statement necklace, I can't help but wear that instead. The necklace is also from Charlotte Russe. Trust me, I was tempted to buy so many other gold statement necklaces!

For my eye makeup, I used the Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette. I love all the nude, gold, and brown theme colors in that palette.

Check out my piano cover of "Me and My Broken Heart" by Rixton. The original song sounds like a mixture between a Matchbox Twenty and Maroon 5 song. I'm a big fan of Maroon 5 (9 year fan club member and counting!). So when I heard the song by Rixton, it caught my attention right away. It's catchy and so fun to listen to. Here you go:

Fuchsia Lipstick for Mother's Day

There are times when I cannot find the perfect lipstick color. So what do I do? I combine a bunch of colors together and get the perfect color! I went for a nice fuchsia combination for Mother's Day. 

I started with my Sephora lipliner in "Pleasant Plum." I put on my Urban Decay "Venom" lipstick which comes off as a dark maroon color. I then put on my bright pink "Girl About Town" lipstick from Mac. To top it off, I used the glossy NYX lipgloss in "Doll Pink."

If you want a dark maroon color, the "Pleasant Plum" lipliner and "Venom" lipstick look very good together! Or if you just want a bright fuchsia color, you can use the "Girl About Town" lipstick with the "Doll Pink" lipgloss.

YouTube cover of "Black Roses" from Nashville

I was watching the television show Nashville on ABC a few weeks ago and heard a beautiful song called "Black Roses" sung by Clare Bowen AKA Scarlet O'Connor.  I loved it instantly. I wanted to try a different style of a YouTube cover this time around. I contacted my talented musician friend Alfred and asked him to accompany me on the song. He did an amazing job playing piano and editing the video with a help of another friend. This was our first time recording a cover like this and we hope to do more and improve with each video. Beach Wedding: Blue Eyeshadow and Black Dress

I went to a beach wedding in Redondo Beach this weekend and it was absolutely beautiful. I had never been to a wedding on the beach before. The weather was perfect. The sky was clear blue and the sun was shining down on us. I wore a black dress and decided to use blue eyeshadow to match the theme of the wedding. I like to use colors in my makeup that are inspired by my surroundings. The blue was clearly inspired by the beach, the ocean, and the blue sky.

Eyeshadow: I used Mac eyeshadow all over my eyes. I have a 6 eyeshadow palette that I chose 3 colors from. The inner section is: Gingersoft. The blue is Cinder with a bit of Tease 'n Teal blended into it. The smokey color is created by using the color Contrast (not a part of the palette).

Eyeliner: NYX Black ( on top). Urban Decay "Ink," Electric Eel by Mac, and Beauty Marked by Mac (under eye).

LaLa Lavender

I think I'm going to obsess over lavender this season. Yup! I am. I decided to pair gold and lavender in this outfit. They're a great color combination for Spring.
