Charming Charlie Purses and Sunglasses

A few weeks ago, I went to San Diego and I stopped by a cute store called, "Charming Charlie." The entire store is set up by color, so if you're looking for something yellow for example, you just go to the yellow section and find all sorts of accessories as well as some shoes and clothes...in yellow! I was so overwhelmed when I walked in. I could spend all day there, but I'd probably also spend all my money and buy everything in the store. I did walk out with two of the same purses in different colors and two of the same sunglasses in different colors. Any time I like something, I like to buy an additional one of it in another color. It's always hard to just buy two of the same item in a different color because knowing me, I would buy four or five of the same thing if I could. Check out the cute purses and sunglasses that I bought!

Check out the website for Charming Charlie!

Click here for link to Quilted Queen Crossbody bag! Unfortunately, the website does not have the sunglasses online. I did find similar ones in white, if you're interested, click here!

Happy shopping!

Face Scrub Friday!

Yes, I just made that up. It's catchy though don't you think? Say it again, "Face Scrub Friday!" I'm an Arbonne Independent Consultant and I love their face scrubs. Check them out. If you are interested, let me know or use my ID # 13370815 to purchase. Arbonne is a plant based company - no animal testing involved! These face scrubs leave my face smooth and with a beautiful glow. I love using at least one of them every Friday to leave my skin feeling clean and prepared for the weekend.

#1: Exfoliating New Cell Scrub (Best Seller): Apply this on damp skin and leave on for one minute. Then you rinse off and notice smoother skin.
#2: Deep Cleansing Mask: Apply this on damp skin and leave on for 10 minutes, then rinse off with either warm water or a damp towel.
#3: Cellular Renewal Masque: (Used for facials in high end salons in London). This is a cream you apply on dry skin and leave on for about 5-7 minutes, then rinse off.

#4: Sea Mud Face and Body Mask: This can be used for your face and your body. Apply on face and leave on for 5-10 minutes (I usually just leave it for 5). Apply on arms/legs /torso and leave on for about 20-30 minutes.

House of Lashes Inspired Eye Makeup

I had come across a beautiful eye makeup look on the Instagram page of House of Lashes. I decided to try my best to recreate it! Take a look at my makeup station with all of the makeup items I used, as well as the finished look below.
I made sure to use Mac's new glitter holiday set in the inner crease of my eye to give that extra sparkly look. Some of the items pictured above are: Hue and Snob lipsticks by Mac, Oak lipliner by Mac, Pout lipgloss by Smashbox, Arbonne bronzer, L'Oreal Voluminous Fiber Lashes, NYX white and black eyeliners, and NYC face powder.

Lip Exfoliant

I just made my own simple lip exfoliant. I mixed olive oil and brown sugar together. I put enough of both ingredients until it became pasty. I then scrubbed it on my lips and washed it off with warm water. My lips feel like butter! Don't forget to rehydrate your lips by putting on chapstick right after since your skin is a bit sensitive after using the exfoliant.

Hair Products I've Been Using

I love taking care of my hair and I'm always looking for products that will leave my hair feeling and looking amazing. These are the products I have been recently using.

Every week, I either use the Arbonne Pure Vibrance Hair Revitalizing Masque or the Macadamia Deep Repair Masque. They are conditioning treatments I use after I shampoo. I leave the conditioner in my hair for about 7 minutes and then I rinse off. My hair feels and smells amazing after.

I also use coconut and castor oil before I wash my hair. I use coconut oil on the tips and bottom part of my hair. I put castor oil on my scalp. For about an hour to a few hours (just depending on how much time I have), I leave both oils on and then I shower. My hair comes out feeling so soft and healthy. Castor oil is also recommended to help grow out your eyebrows. Who would have known? I hope to find out about some other cool products and in home remedies I can use on my hair.

If interested in the Arbonne Pure Revitalizing Masque, you may purchase it at www.Arbonne.com through my ID # 13370815. Totally worth it!

Birthday Makeup!

I celebrated my birthday this weekend and I got to have a little fun doing my own makeup for my night out! After playing around with different lipsticks and eye shadows, this is the final look I ended up creating.

These are some of the eye makeup products that I used:
The top left eye shadow palette is the Beaute Basics Matte Eye Shadow Palette, I used the hot pink for the middle crease of my eye and the black color to create the smokey effect. I used the bottom left Sinful Colors eye shadow in color "Platinum" for the inner crease of my eye. Then I used one of my favorite mascaras, Loreal Voluminous False Fiber Lashes, Black Lacquer. This mascara is amazing! Just like the name says, it makes my lashes look very "Voluminous!"

These are some of the products I used on my lips and cheeks:
I used both "Hue" and "Snob" by Mac (I love blending two lipsticks), then I used my favorite pink lipgloss  "Pout." My friend recommended this to me years ago and I've been hooked ever since! Then I used Arbonne's "Taffeta" blush, and put a little bit of Arbonne's bronzer over it. (You can use my Arbonne ID# 13370815 at checkout on the Arbonne website if you would like the Arbonne products).

I also used some Mac under eye concealer (everybody needs a little bit of that to brighten up the eyes a bit!), I used my favorite NYX black eyeliner that I've been using for years, and I used NYC's "Smooth Skin Naturally Beige Face Powder." There you have it! This is the final look I completed for my birthday!

The New Arbonne "It's a Long Story" Mascara

This past weekend, I attended the 2013 Arbonne GTC conference held in Las Vegas. While being there, I was able to buy Arbonne's new "It's a Long Story" mascara. I love mascara and am always trying out new ones. This is definitely my new favorite! It separates and elongates my lashes and is worth a try for everyone who loves mascara. If anyone is interested in it, check out the link to it. My ID # is 13370815. Link to Arbonne Mascara
